This community of over 70 producers is recognized for its commitment to social entrepreneurship and high quality standards. The coffee is unique for a decaf as it undergoes a complex initial processing stage including both carbonic maceration and natural drying. Following this, the beans are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, a chemical-free method that relies on temperature and osmosis to remove caffeine while retaining the original aromatic profile. The result is a highly expressive decaf with a medium body and a rich sweetness, featuring layers of nougat and golden syrup balanced by bright notes of cherry and stone fruit.
